However, Nannies and more...® International works with all types of positions. Most of the positions are live-out, but we also provide live-in positions with either a separate bedroom within the residence/private quarters, separate suite, private home on the property, private apartment on the property, or provide separate housing off the property.
Other types of positions include part-time (a minimum of 30 hours per week are required, along with a consistent workweek schedule to be considered, and long-term), temporary full-time (less than 52 weeks), and temporary short-term assignments (newborn care specialist and newborn management).
Additionally, Nannies and more...® International works with corporate assignments through corporations, partnerships, and/or private individuals. Many are special events, workshops, and functions that need professional assistance. This will consist of 1 to 3 days with a minimum of 6 hours per day.

Many placements also offer specialized services, such as fluency in second and third languages, special needs experience, twin/multiples experiences, and experience working with numerous age groups: newborn, infant, toddler, pre-school-aged, and school-aged children. These are factors for higher pay levels.
Please note: the placement's rates are supported by credible professional references, credible personal character references, clear background, and a clean driving record. This is also supported by the placement's professional in-person and online presence.
Nannies and more...® International typically sees rates start at $25 gross per hour (based on location + traditional positions) and based on the placement's level of experience goes up to $40-45 per hour based on specialized job scope requirements and placement's qualifications listed above.

Nannies and more...® International's standard positions offer two weeks of paid vacation and are eligible after the first six months have been worked and then the second week after the twelve months have been worked.
Also, the placements usually see 3-5 paid sick days (as known as paid time off), paid nationally recognized holidays, such as Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (observed), Christmas (observed), and New Year's Day (observed). Some of the Nannies and more...® International's Clients will also offer additional ones, such as the Day after Thanksgiving, and shorter hours on Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.
Some of the Nannies and more...® International's Clients will offer a health insurance allowance to the placement. This is submitted on an IRS form yearly and acts as a tax-free allowance for both the Client and Placement. In order to receive this allowance, the placement must have an insurance plan that matches the amount or is more than what the client is offering monthly. Documentation must be provided to show proof of the plan.
There are several other benefits that Nannies and more...® International's Clients offer to make their job more marketable, however, it is not standard, but can be offered. Housing provided on and off-site, housing allowance, car allowance if mileage reimbursement (current IRS Rate) is not given when the placement uses their vehicle, cell phone allowance, full medical insurance coverage, 401K contributions, and relocation assistance. There are other perks as well such as travel stipends, overnight stipends, and a vehicle provided for work and personal use. Many Nannies and more...® International's Clients may also offer perks when seeking the long-term, such as yearly bonuses, performance bonus(es), and/or holiday bonuses, and also include a yearly performance-based raise at the contract renewal.

An employee has a set schedule and typically works for one employer, is in a permanent position, and the employer provides the supplies/materials needed to perform the position. However, independent contractor sets their own hours, brings their own supplies/materials to perform the position, has multiple clients with whom they perform services, and is not always on the same schedule. Mostly, Professional Nannies and other childcare and household workers are considered employees if they are working full time, have consistent schedules, are in a permanent position, and the client is providing materials to perform the position. However, if they are working a short-term position/temporary position they can be considered an independent contractor. Also, independent contractors can also be newborn care specialists, chefs, and housekeepers. Again, this is only if they are working short term, have multiple clients, provide their own hours, and use their own supplies/material needed to perform the position.
When working as an employee, a W-2 is given by the family/client. If working as an Independent Contractor, the family/client is responsible for providing 1099 (based on minimum amounts).
